Roberto Gagliardi - Founder
Roberto Gagliardi founded the London based Gagliardi Gallery in 1978 on the King's Road, Chelsea. The gallery has now operated for nearly 40 years and has grown to become one of the most influential galleries in the city.
Roberto Gagliardi also founded the Chianciano Art Museum in Tuscany, one of the biggest private museums in Europe, as well as the internationally renowned London Art Biennale exhibitions that gather over 120 artists from over 40 nations every two years in the heart of London.
Exhibitions organised by Mr Gagliardi range from collections of works by Albrecht Dürer to original drawings by designer Giorgio Armani.
The project for 2016 is to transform an abandoned 12th Century medieval town in Italy into a international art center. Construction work is already underway on 8 properties within the walls of the Tuscan town.
